Today was our last day of school for this year. We don’t take the summer off, we take the fall because our summers are so hot. We also get better rates when we travel during the off season. Plus, my boys get to go to their grandparents and hunt. (They love to learn about the great out doors, and this is not my speciality.)
My eldest made an hundred on his last spelling test. (This was a major achievement.) He has mastered his math with an A plus. I’m so glad this year is finally completed. He has worked so hard.
My second born also finished today. Talk about rejoicing. He was dancing in my office while playing the guitar and singing “I am Free.” He was made to praise and worship! This mommy couldn’t help but Praise the Lord with him. What LIFE!
My blue-eye daughter is not finished. But, that is okay. She works to her own beat. Yesterday, she was crying because she couldn’t make a cursive capital D. Oh, the DRAMA! After, explaining to her, that this was a fun letter because of the curves, she was fine. Just took a little persuasion on a princess level. She had to have it jusssst rrrright. Now, “D” is her favorite letter.
(The hard part in knowing this, is it is just kinder.) Lord, help us!
Well, we will start back up in January. School is out! Holidays are approaching and we are so glad!
