This is what we gave my Grandma for Christmas!
Now, it is six days before Christmas and I still have not sent them out. They are addressed and all. I just need to write an annual Christmas Letter. I have written one every year for the past 11 years or so.
I received a phone call one year and I tried to save it but eventually it was erased. My great aunt called and told me she read my letter. She went on and on how pleased she was that we were having another child (this was years ago). She was so proud and was crying at the end of the call, saying she never regretted having her five children and they were the highlights of her life. She went on to say how the letter was so special to her and it made her feel full inside. I was thrilled that she even knew who I was. (We come from an extremely huge family on that side. My Grandma is one of 12 plus children.) It was a phone call I remember every year as I do my Christmas cards. She died not long after.

I did these until about 3 years ago when I stopped sending cards out completely. I have no idea why I stopped. I just didn’t do it one year. Then the next. Then this one. Seems a little late to get one out now. Especially since we don’t have a way cool photo like yours. (Looks great, BTW)
Love the story about your great aunt!
