My hubby and I are not farmers. However, we are trying our hardest to get a few things to grow.
He told a friend of mine last night, one of his nicknames for me is Morticia. That is just wrong, Mr. Father of My Children!
I study plants. I just kill them in the process.
Well, some of them live – succulents are great!
So, it gives me great pleasure to introduce you to our
Orange Tree,
that we planted 5 or so years ago.
This is the first fruit it has produced.
Now, I know it is green. I am guessing it is supposed to be, since it does not need to be harvested until winter. Until then, I have been watering once a week, unless God decides to send showers, which does not happen too often. Although, at the time of writing this – I am hearing thunder in the distance.
If it doesn’t taste good, we are still keeping it! We need the shade!
