Things I love…
My hair washed by another person.
My children liking the food I prepare.
Cobalt blue anything except toilets or black toilets (they just scare me!).
Fingernail polish that will stay on for more than three days.
Circle E candles (made in the Texas Hill Country)
Going to the hill country
My families. (Both mine and my husbands! Just love them to pieces!)
My friend – Jesus. I mean I really like Him!
My kids’ laughing. Could their be a better sound than hearing hearty real laughs?
Things I don’t love…
My body growing in places it shouldn’t.
My haircut – I just got one…my daughter says I look like Dora. (Bangs!) {Luckily, it will grow out in 2 weeks.}
The “gift” to women and the emotions that come with it.
Dirty dishes right before a trip.
Clothes that have must have shrunk 2 sizes just hanging in the closet.
Dust and hairballs in the a/c filter. Wait, dust and hairballs period.
Dirty toilets. YUCK!
Having to re-wash clothes because the kids couldn’t remember if they wore them or not.
Having to buy a brow pencil for the very first time because the hairdresser said my eyebrow “just fell out” when she was waxing one of them. (I almost didn’t put that because I felt like it was TMI but hey – I’m being real here -except I’m not posting a picture!!!)
Yeah, it has been one of those days. I’m over it! Well, I’m working on being over it.
I’m taking some time and looking over here, at Le Creuset! Giveaway has ended!

So seriously! How have I known you, and not known about this other blog? I tend to not follow “review blogs”, but yours is about all kinds of reviews, not just products. Love it! I can tell already that we have the same taste in books.

I suppose I did this out of order. But we all know I like Twitter better than Facebook any way ;).
My favorite dish to make is a wild rice casserole dish that freezes ahead. That way, I can easily stick it in the oven after a long day of work.
It’s 1 package of any Rice a Roni box with seasoning packet
1 cup chopped roasted red peppers
1 bag frozen/fresh green beans
1 can water chestnuts
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups leftover (or rotisserie) chicken breast
Mix all of these in a nice casserole dish and top with 1 cup of cheese (I like mozz) and 1/2 cup of slivered almonds.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. My son likes it, so therefore it’s got to be good.
Love, K
Well now that we know so much about you…..I can say that I share your love of Jesus, family, the hill country and long lasting nail polish. Lisa~

Honestly, my favorite to eat is BLTs. My mom made them all the time in the summer. I think they just remind me of her! 🙂 Thank you for this opportunity! I have always wanted these RR dishes!!!!!!
I added you on my facebook page and posted that I would make Mummified Chicken. :0)
steeleangiemcc at gmail dot com
I could REALLY see me using these! They look awesome. I’ve never even seen these before!
I would want to make Mummified Chicken. It is a recipe that I created myself. We love bacon so how can you go wrong? Yum!
Mummified Chicken
5 Chicken Breasts
1 lb thick sliced Field Bacon
1/2 cup Dale’s Steak Seasoning
Take a plate and lay out 2 slices of your bacon. Set the chicken on the bacon and wrap it up like a mummy. Set the wrapped chicken in a casserole dish. Do this with all of your bacon and chicken. Pour your Dale’s Seasoning over it (it’s a liquid). Put in a preheated 350* oven and bake for approx. 1 hour (or until the chicken is cooked through). You can also grill this and it is very good too!
This chicken was what my husband called the BEST chicken I have ever made!! It almost smelled like it was teriyaki-but it wasn’t.
I have also used chicken breast tenders and used one slice of bacon. They cook up faster this way and on the grill you know they are cooked all the way through. :0)

I could so see a Spaghetti pie in those dishes. What a great dish it would be to bring to a family gathering.

P.S. We adore circle e candles too. They are my favorites at Christmas! There is no way you can look like Dora, the Explorer!
I added another recipe link to your FB page and did the “like” thingy too.

I love baking those casseroles from those Campell’s soup recipes & pumpkin cookies in the fall (though those wouldn’t work too well in those dishes)!
relientkcar(at)gmail(dot)com
I have so many favorites but I’m thinking Rachel’s favorite Mac and cheese would be so beautiful in those blue dishes. The recipe is actually Ronald Reagan’s Mac and Cheese. We love it. My goal is to post a few new faves on my blog some time next week. Maybe you will like them too.
