Photos that might have you in a straight-jacket

February 9, 2011 Lana

Pure Joy

A long time ago, my little guys and little Princess were up way past their bedtime.
Not to mention they had the giggles.
Oh, how I wish we could go back in time some days.

When all they had to know or cared about…

was when to go potty
or
where was their favorite blanket
or
just needed their parents to hold them and make their aches feel better.

Oh, how I miss simple thinking days.

I only have one preschooler now.  And he is not wanting to be the “baby” most days.  But, he doesn’t have a choice.

He will be hugged at least 4,716.9 times a day.
Plus, if I just feel like it.  He will be smothered in kisses, too.

Oh, the love in our house is overwhelming – sometimes.

Even if we are in public and I see a baby…I have to hold back or I will want to give some Southern sugars.  (Southern sugars are kisses or smooches.  Northern sugar is refined white stuff that I love in my tea.)

Okay, I must go and wake up a lil’ guy who must need some loving from his Mommy because he is sleeping so soundly.

(Please don’t contact the white jacket people-I’m really sound.   Well, sort of.  Never mind the ramblings today.  I’m just a Mommy with kids growing up too fast.)

Blessings to you!  You are loved!
