Mexican Layered Dip in Trifle Bowl

October 10, 2011 Lana

Seriously, this is one of the easiest Dips in the World.
Plus, it is so EASY and Pretty!

7 Layer Mexican Dip

[wpsr_pinterest]
I had 7 or 9 layer dip way back in my high school days.  I’ve been hooked ever since!  The number of layers – depends on you or what you have!  If I don’t have something – I try to substitute something else.
Here are some ingredients that I use – there is no right or wrong way!

Layered Mexican Dip
[easy-share buttons=”no” counters=0 native=”selected” show_fblike=”yes”]

  • 1 Large can of refried Veggie Beans
  • 1 envelope of taco seasonings
  • 1/2 carton of sour cream
  • 1 package of cream cheese (I use low-fat – no one ever knows!)
  • Jar of salsa
  • Fresh tomatoes about 3 Roma sized
  • Iceberg Lettuce – chopped
  • Green Onions – chopped
  • Shredded Cheese (Sometimes I use Mexican – sometimes just Cheddar)
  • Sliced Black Olives

I mix together the beans and taco seasonings.  I also mix in a separate bowl the cream cheese and sour cream.  Then layer like the picture!  Simple!  Easy!  You’ll be crowned the Football Dip Queen {or King}!  Did I mention easy?!

7 Layer Mexican Dip

This is always a winner for any type of potluck.  Plus, most of the stuff is what I have on hand.  Simple – I tell ya’!

7 Layer Mexican Dip

Blessings to you!  You are loved!

I just made a version of this dip last night, but never thought of serving in the trifle bowl. I will definitely try it next time! Thank you for sharing the idea! Nicole
