We are still traveling around West Texas.
Visiting Stonehenge is not on my bucket list.
However, I would never pass up an opportunity to see a wonder of the world.
We stopped at a local college, University of Texas Permian Basin and got to see a replica.
It took longer to get a parking permit so we wouldn’t get a citation than to actually see the stones.
It was fun to read the markers around the rocks. We haven’t studied this yet so the kids were like “Nice…Mom.” But, not really interested.
I wish we had studied before stopping to visit Stonehenge. It would have made it more productive instead of just a photo opportunity.
However, we etched a memory. I’m excited for my kids. They are traveling around the world without ever leaving the United States.
