Today we were supposed to be on the road headed up North to find the perfect area that will be our future home.

BUT…
I’m sick. Like can’t quit coughing every time I move, sick. So, things that normally take 10 minutes to do – are taking an entire day. Including trying to tame my new haircut.
Word to the wise: Don’t get a new hair style without having time to play with it.
Then we realized our trailer license tags are expired. We have to wait till the DPS office opens tomorrow morning before we head out on the road. I keep trying to remind myself that these are just a few speed bumps.
The trailer is loaded to the max. Books, dining tables, and a pair of bunk beds. Did I mention books? My husband loves the fact that his wife and children love to read. But, I’m not sure how much he loves the fact that books weigh as much as a herd of elephants.
We are clearing out our home to make it more “sellable.” Right now it looks more like a mountain of boxes that could avalanche at any moment. Also, they smell like frozen pizzas. I’m not a fan of frozen pizza. Although, my kids are now very proficient at making their own.
And the boxes and furniture are invading my Mom’s house. (Thanks Mom!)
My Mom has been our biggest cheerleader during this move. She is not only volunteered to watch our kids but ALL the cousins during this time. Her house is going to be a blast for all the kids, so many memories in the making.
My sweet sister in law, has made tons of meals that my Mom just has to heat up. My brother has been sending me encouraging texts that he is constantly praying for me.
My precious Aunt and Uncle is letting us stay in their home that was for sale but had just took off the market right before I called them to let them know we are moving to the area. How awesome is that?! They had no idea we were going to need housing. And they offered it to us, plus any help we would need.
God knows the littlest details. Even when there are speed bumps, He is leading us.
Sometimes these are just speed bumps put in the way to protect us.
I love my precious family.
Blessings to you! You are loved!

During a difficult time in my life, I came to understand that frozen pizzas (and other similar items) are special messengers of grace for mothers. Dont be too hard on yourself 😀 Healthy home-made foods will be back in your life soon. (hugs)
