Homeschool Conference in Dallas

May 15, 2014 Lana

Do you homeschool?  Or do you know someone who does?

There is a brand new conference coming to Dallas, Texas next month, June 26 – 28th.

Teach Them Diligently Homeschool Convention 2014 Dallas

I love homeschool conferences.  Even when I didn’t homeschool, I went and they were just so uplifting.  I refer them as “encouragement booster shots” for homeschool parents.

Many times homeschool teachers feel alone and are left wondering if they are doing the best for their child.  At a homeschool conference, they can talk and really dig in to the pages of different curricula.  They can meet new friends who will offer support.

If you know someone who is homeschooling or thinking about homeschooling or just needs some answers please refer them here to learn about the conference.  I will be glad to answer any questions and if I don’t know them, I will gladly refer them to someone who does.

The cost of the conference right now is $55. for the family for pre-registration.

At the door it will cost $75.00.

At this conference in Dallas, I am looking forward to hearing Serene Allison and Pearl Barrett, authors of Trim Healthy Mama.  Trim Healthy Mama is something that our family has starting doing in baby steps.  I can’t wait to hear them in person.  Their book is truly changing bodies.

Seriously, there are tons of speakers coming to this one: (this is just a small list)

  • Chuck Black
  • Debra Bell (she wrote my fave homeschool resource)
  • Kelli Becton (Squeal! One of my favorite online buddies)
  • Rachael Carman (Apologia Science)
  • Ali Dent (Find her on Facebook – amazing little helpful hints to make writing fun!)
  • Josh Duggar (You may have seen his tiny family on television. wink!)
  • Kendra Fletcher (Another one of my fave online friends.  Her story is amazing!)
  • AND so many more!

If you still have questions, please feel free to join the Facebook group for the TTD-Dallas.  (There are free giveaways posted periodically.)

I should also tell you while I really love this particular conference, I also write for them on their website blog.  Yesterday, I wrote about our new sport – “The 7 Minute Race.”
