How to cut tile

…are alike. But, ours has a temper. At the end of the tile – you have to go real real slow or the saw will break the end of the tile. Fortunately , for me, my hubs had learned this trick and taught me. Unfortunately, for him, he learned the hard way. And that, my friends, is all there is to it! I will say, our floor tiles are 20 x 20. Our tiles for our kitchen backsplash are 4 x 4. We would use our Lil’ Boy Wet Saw for the little tiles and not the…

A really bad day

August 14, 2010 Lana

…Him! My kids’ laughing. Could their be a better sound than hearing hearty real laughs? Things I don’t love… My body growing in places it shouldn’t. Dirty dishes right before a trip. Clothes that have must have shrunk 2 sizes just hanging in the closet. Dust and hairballs in the a/c…

10 things I love ilovemy5kids

…love real books with paper pages. I love Selah, Guns and Roses and Cajun tunes when doing a mundane job, like cleaning, painting or cutting hair.Plus, I really love Praise and Worship but I can’t much work done when it is on. Just being real. I might have to do these more often! I had a blast and really could have added tons more to this list. Have you tried this? If you can’t name 10 just name 3 or even 1. Hopefully, your list will multiply soon!…

Things I love

When scripture doesn’t make sense

May 7, 2012 Lana

…ng to explain the Lord’s Will sometimes to children or adults. (Just being real.) This is a learning life lesson for all of us. Things happen that we have NO control over. Things happen that the Lord has complete control over. We have to decide if we serve things or the Lord. The next day, I was just pondering of all the events that have happened and I was reminded of Jesus when He was in the boat asleep traveling with His most faithful followers,…
