Those crazy fines make my dishes clean.

March 28, 2009 Lana

…The librarians shout “Norm!”, well – in their quiet voices and they use my family name. My kids dash for the children’s computers and I’m able to have a sweet break. I love our library. And, I’m now not allowed to check out anything – until that stupid fine is paid. Yes, it was my fault. I checked out those videos and books and I am the one who made them late. Yes, I have done it before. Yes, I will probably do it again. In my own special way, I s…

Goodbye Party

July 31, 2009 Lana

…ding Germany, Mexico, North Carolina, North-South-East-West Texas, Oklahoma, and South Dakota. Yet God directed our paths to meet and I am so thankful. This is Leslie (the one in the black shirt). Please pray for her and her family as God continues to guide their steps. (Candace is on the right. If she knows I put this on here – she might shoot me. Hopefully, she doesn’t own anything except a water gun.) Blessings to each of you! You are loved!…

Blackmail in the future…

March 11, 2009 Lana

…See what happens when Mommy and Daddy are not really paying attention to the children. Things just get totally out of hand! Yes, this will be used as blackmail in the teenage years. I’m glad our family has a fun sense of humor. The other children were shouting “Show Mom! Show Mom! She’s going to laugh!” I love when my children laugh so hard that they might pee in their pants. I wouldn’t have it any other way!!! ©www.ilovemy5kids.blogspot.com…

The EYES have it!

February 26, 2009 Lana

…church near us. We always have our yearly eye exams. Since we have a large family, three of us go one day and then three the next day. {Our baby is still too young to go.} The boys love looking at the different machines and asking tons of questions. They also got to see a close up of my eye. My eyes are many different colors including blue. My blue eye son was so excited we shared the same color eyes (at least under the microscope). By next year,…

Gone fishing…2008

February 25, 2009 Lana

…the bait smells and there is no fish in our city. But, I love the way our family bonded. This guy loved the water even though it truly was a HOT day. My Princess, I think she likes hunting better. He was a trooper. I can’t even begin to tell you how well behaved he was around the water. I love this guy. Talk about being red, white and blue. She was too young to fish but loved sitting in a chair watching the ducks. The 3 amigos, the true fishermen…
