February 27, 2011 Lana

…ake a nap during the day, if need be. I tell my kids that they are each my favorite child. (They might have some idea that I tell all five of them this, but I think they like it.) I make sure that my hubby knows that he is loved and try to fulfill his love language, daily. (If you don’t know the Five Love Languages by Gary Smalley, it is worth the read!) I think my boys will change their minds when we decide to watch a Chick-Flick instead. I just need a good tit…

Five of my favorite children in the world plus Brighton Joy, who is adjusting to our family perfectly! Blessing to you! You are loved!…

Here I raise my Ebenezer.

October 26, 2010 Lana

…ss, a picture, a fellow believer, a hymn – those things which serve as reminders of God’s love, God’s Real Presence, and God’s assistance are “Ebenezers.” (Resource: Dr. Gregory S. Neal – he explains in more detail what an Ebenezer is in scripture.) Back to the song: My favorite part…. “Let Thy goodness like a fetter, bind my wandering heart to Thee Prone to wander Lord I feel it, prone to leave the God I love Here’s my heart Lord, take and seal i…
