Here I raise my Ebenezer.

October 26, 2010 Lana

…e people would think and not talk – there would be less conflict. (There I just solved all the world’s problems…just joking, sort of.) Back to the song… One of the verses in the song…is “Here I raise my Ebenezer” I thought this would be a great homeschool moment. After I explained to my kids that this does not mean “Ebenezer Scrooge” – they would have to tell me what is their Ebenezer. My focus for this month has been to focus on “What God is to m…

Have you heard of this game – Banagrams?

April 16, 2010 Lana

…law, F. gets real competitive and knows words that makes you wonder if she just made that up. She keeps a dictionary with the game to check it out. If she is wrong, the game starts over and she is out. (I personally think she sleeps with the dictionary, she knows so many “odd” words…LOL!) Pantry Problems and tons of updated pictures(RENOVATION Remodel part number – who knows?)

September 1, 2010 Lana

…00 or so – all the wood was cut for some awesome custom pantry shelves. He just had to glue and nail them together (a quiet job.) Then after we heehawed and managed to remove the door frame to insert the rather obnoxious shelving into a cramped pantry closet – it looked awesome. An unplanned trip to Paris-without our passports

August 27, 2010 Lana

…tle personalities – laughing is such a stress reliever. At the hotel…can I just say “suites” are the way to go with large families with small children. Everyone had a place to sleep and a HOT breakfast! I can’t tell you enough how much I like “SUITES!” Isn’t this a neat building? It is in North Texas – Sulphur Springs, I believe. Another neat building. I have no idea what it is…might be a courthouse. I just love buildings that have painted signs o…

Life has a funny way of dealing cards.

May 16, 2010 Lana

…his is the hand where nothing matches other cards, no pairs, no straights, just a hand that needs to be put down. God won’t allow it for his children! There will always be HOPE and LOVE for you and me! God is the ultimate dealer. He deals cards to glorify Him! He deals us cards for our good and not evil. He never cheats or does something crooked to make us fail for the fun of it but rather for us to have to lean on Him, and Him alone. I just need…
