I think I’m losing my marbles…

August 19, 2009 Lana

I went to Target the other night with an agenda.  I had a list in my mind.

  • Toilet brush (I threw mine away.)
  • Look at some book shelves that were on sale.
  • Modeling clay (the non-hardening kind)  {I don’t even know if this exists.}

Guess what???  I only looked for the modeling clay and forgot about the rest.  However I managed to come home with a lot of other stuff including chocolate.  In my mind, mission complete.

My son ran into the room and said “Mommy – I found your marbles!”  I have a mason jar full of marbles that I keep on my desk.  I like the colors.  Apparently, he had found some, that mysteriously went missing from jar.

I’m glad he found them.  Have you lost your marbles lately?

Blessings to you!!!  You are loved!!!

    I’ve written a list with just two or three items and STILL not make it home with the stuff on the list. I’m glad I’m not the only one.

    Too funny. I’ve lost some as well. You did buy the most important thing though, chocolate!

    So funny! Sounds so much like my shopping trips to Target. I was recently confused when I swiped my charge and the lady was trying to hand me my receipt. I actually didn’t have to sign because I spent less than $25. I almost passed out right there!

    I popped over here b/c I was cracking up at your comment on WFMW. Your favorite parenting tool: Grandma’s house! Hysterical.

May the LORD bless you and keep you; May the LORD make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; May He turn His face toward you and give you peace. Feel free to leave a comment - we LOVE to hear your thoughts! ~Blessings to you!~ ~You are so loved!~ ~Lana (Like Banana)~
