Remodel In A Bag

June 9, 2010 Lana

If I lost this, I'd be LOST
[wpsr_pinterest]
This is my special bag.  It holds all our plans and samples.
I love this bag.  (A friend got it for me when she went to Las Vegas.
She needs to go again – so I can get a back-up one.)
The damask folder is for my plans.
Since I’m such a visual person, my hubs has to draw everything out for me, so I can understand what he is saying.
Backsplash He is going to make this range hood and then we are going to lay the stone under it.  Isn’t it gorgeous?Yummy colors Here are my colors and budget.  Yummy My cabinet is to the left.  My granite is called Tropical Brown.  My fixtures are all oil-rubbed bronze.  The colors are Fragrant Cloves, Cobalt blue, and Chocolate Milk.  YUM!
I love laying everything out so I can think clearly and make sure it will work.
What do you think
?I should probably mention we are doing all these renovations ourselves.  We are learning a lot as we go and are enjoying working together.  I love my husband and how his face lights up when the project is complete.  He loves when I learn a new skill so he has less work to do.  (I’m having a blast using the miter-saw.)
Go see more of our BIG HOME RENOVATION 2010!

Good for you! I have a binder, but it needs to be updated, and honestly, it doesn’t hold a candle to you! Great job!

Good on ya! In my case I keep several idea files for the bedroom, bath, kitchen, yard, etc. Over time it’s amazing how many of them I’ve been able to do, and that is good motivation. Have fun with your BIG project!

Beautiful! I love the colors and the stone and we have the same damask folders (I use mine in my classroom). Keep up the good work!
