Remodeling Kitchen Before Pictures
My hubs and I having been working our little behinds off this past week.
I still think the hardest part in doing a remodel (when you are a self-contractor) is the shopping and choosing all the little details.

This is the wall that is coming down. Here is another view….we used to have our fish aquarium here.
I should probably mention that this wall is a support wall – meaning without this wall – our entire house could crumble.
No worries…we had breakfast (thanks for the reminder, Mom!). This is also coming down…no more 1970’s posts. Look carefully at the clock…it didn’t make it. (tears) The brick column is also being changed.
This wall is the backside and is going to be totally transformed.
Where the fridge used to be…and the backside of the wall that holds up the entire house. Gorgeous (haha) fluorescent lights that are re-locating to the garage. Our “deli” style chandelier that is also re-locating to the garage above my washer and dryer.
Those lights go out at least once a week. The door that is never used…going away! Again, the posts – adios! I mean it…see ya’!
Stay tuned for more to come….in Renovation Remodel Reality 2010!
Let me just put a disclaimer here….we are by no means experts. We are learning. Don’t take what is said here and apply it to your life without some advisement by your spouse, doctor, mother, father, sister in law, neighbor, children, complete stranger standing in the grocery store, local hardware professionals guy/gal, DIY network and by lack of words – local city/county ordinances.
Blessings to you! You are loved!
Let me just say one more thing….you can have up to date craziness from my Facebook Fan Page, Twitter, or my daily E-mails.
Participating in the following parties…so many ideas!
