It is hard being a thief…

…d myself to a couple of these… Let me just tell you for sake of propriety, I don’t usually go around “taking things” that were not given to me. However, in this instance, I could not help myself! These were gorgeous on my table! I’m wondering if I should send a thank you note to someone, who doesn’t even know she gave me a gift? FYI: The Grandma was at home and she gave me the go ahead. Thievery is really not allowed in our house. Happy May Day! M…

You would never know…unless I told you.

Okay, when I was in high school, I did a few things totally out of character. One of those things, I thought had finally caught up to me, when my son brought me the mail the other day. My hubby and I had different favorite traditions growing up. Mine was to go buy a new dress, new shoes, and maybe a pretty bonnet. His was that they colored eggs. So, now we do both with our children. My boys don’t get a bonnet but they do get something new. This year it was just haircuts, so far. This year because of illness, we couldn’t go to church. So, we will dress up next Sunday, hopefully, in our new attire. Cascarones are hollow chicken e…

Queenie-Poo…

April 13, 2009 Lana

It is no secret that my husband spoils me. I don’t mean a little spoiled either. Truly spoils me, rotten! Sometimes I am so spoiled I stink! (Not physically, because I’m always covered up by a “Beautiful” fragrance or Bath and Body Works floral collection.) The first thing every morning he does, is brings me coffee in bed. We are talking every morning. The last thing he does at night is brings me water to my bed just in case I get thirsty at nigh…
