Green Thumbs and Garden Ideas!
I just love Gardening activities that the entire family can enjoy no matter the age!
On of my most favorite-ever-ever-ever-spring-time-book is:
Green Thumbs by Laurie Carlson!!!
It has easy to do crafts that you can do with your kids!
One of the activities that was in the book was:
We had a blast making these! Okay, it was more awesome for the parents!
That year we had got together with 2 other homeschool families and formed a small co-op. Each family was responsible for teaching a subject. We had Spanish, Art and of course, Gardening. Since we held it at our house, we were able to plant away!
Another activity that we did the same year was:
Making a Resurrection Pot Garden. The potato was the empty tomb and lasted for weeks!
We also built easy Garden Trellises.
I can’t wait to try more activities in this book for this coming Spring!
