This has been the weekend of blessings… Any idea what this picture is?
Friday, a sweet friend, gave us tons of pea gravel to put in our portico. We just had to go and pick it up. We can’t wait to spread it out.
We’ve been wanting some, so this was such a precious gift.

Before we could actually put it in our portico – we had to remove the schefflera. Most peoples scheffleras are houseplants but ours is humongous, so I have been very reluctant to cut it down. But, it was an eyesore so down it came to my hubby’s delight.
After 3 truck loads later, we now own some pea gravel. I love when my friends have excess rocks and want to bless us with it! Her teenage son also helped us unload all of it – how cool is that, free labor?
Here is my precious friend by her beautiful new pond and my baby. Thanks again!
Hubby was smiling just because he got to use his chainsaw on my schefflera. He has been waiting 6 years for the “go ahead”.
He has been working so hard on the fence, he probably enjoyed the time out to shovel gravel…I can’t wait to show more pictures of that project.
