It is hard being a thief…

May 1, 2009 Lana

Okay, I was picking up my daughter’s friend the other day and I noticed her beautiful blue flowers in her front yard. My daughter’s friend’s mother was not at home so I helped myself to a couple of these…

Let me just tell you for sake of propriety, I don’t usually go around “taking things” that were not given to me. However, in this instance, I could not help myself! IMG_0793

These were gorgeous on my table!
I’m wondering if I should send a thank you note to someone, who doesn’t even know she gave me a gift?

FYI:
The Grandma was at home and she gave me the go ahead. Thievery is really not allowed in our house.

Happy May Day!

Many of you asked…they are called Plumbagos.

Those look like Plumbego’s.(not sure of the spelling there) I tried growing those over here but the salt air and sand killed them dead! *sigh* I believe they will root and you may be able to put that in the ground.
    Hugs.

Pretty flowers. Glad you didn’t totally steal them without some permission. I love all the flowers blooming right now here in Texas.

I’m here with the SITS Welcome Wagon! I’ve been a member from the beginning, and it’s such a wonderful community of women. I’ve met so many amazing bloggers and read so many fun blogs. Welcome aboard, SITSta!

LOL! My neighbor has a gorgeous yellow rose bush that smells like Heaven. It takes all the self control I have to not go over and pinch one.

Now the other neighbor’s magnolia is blooming.

    Lord help me.

    Welcome to SiTS! Em

Cute little story that gave me a chuckle. I may have done the same thing. Those are nice flowers. But having someone’s permission is much better.
