Parker Alexandria is off the bottle! She loves to eat and drink out of a bowl. Plus, she is potty-trained. Oh – I wish it was this easy for the kids.
Can you see the “M” on her forehead? Is it because she is a Maine Coon cat? (We are in the need to know.)
All the kids just adore her and to tell you the truth, I’m kind of cat stricken myself.
My hubby the other night was supposed to be watching her. He had let her out of the kennel and was just letting her roam in the house. He had gone in the kitchen to finish cleaning up and when he came out he couldn’t find Parker.
We looked for over an hour. We looked in the kid’s rooms (who were all sleeping), in the bathrooms, under the couches, in the office, and even in closets. No kitty! I was beginning to think the “cat rapture” had happened and how I was going to have to explain this one to the Princess.
An hour and a half later, my hubby called me to come there. Next to Parker’s kennel is a shelf. Under the shelf Parker had fallen asleep and couldn’t get out. It was a precious moment. Her belly was so full from eating – she had been to tuckered out to even try.
She is blending in well with our family. We are truly grateful that the Lord gave her to us for such a time as this.
Blessings to you! You are loved!

She’s not a Maine Coon, just a tabby. I had some friends take one of my tabby kitties because of that little M on the forehead. The wife’s first name started with an M and her last name was a W – so they figured when the cat was upside-down it was correct, too! Not all tabby’s have the M, but many do.
I’ve spent many hours hunting in the house for lost kittens only to find them as your husband did – zonked out in some teeny little spot.
My only Kitty Caution is to make sure you never take your eyes off of the washer and dryer when their doors are open and you have a bouncy kitty.

Too cute! I knew I was going to simply die the day my sister gave C a kitten. It turns out that the little flea bag stole my heart! I love that stupid cat. Who would have thought?
