A little party, going on…

June 1, 2009 Lana

I love a good party!
I love finding some great finds – so I’m participating!

shelf

We actually found this in our garage when we moved here. We spray painted it black and my hubby put a back on it. FREE!
cabinetWe found this in my friend’s alley. My hubby put a bottom piece of trim and a topper. I plan to paint this black as well.
Not bad for FREE!

birdbath

When we started clearing the brush around our home, guess what we found? This is probably my fave find – I look at it everyday as I wash dishes. FREE!
That bird is a kiskadee – those are one of my fave birds!
TIME OUTI purchased this at a local consignment shop. At the time, it went perfect with my colors but now not so much. So, it might be going back to the consignment shop. FREE because I had credit for selling other stuff there.

Play fort

Our neighbor put up a new fence. Guess who she gave all the boards from her old fence to? We actually made a back fence, this play fort and we will make some benches soon. My hubby did purchase the swings, slide, and rock wall thingamajigs. I’m not sure how much we spent for that stuff but the wood was well FREE!
I hope you enjoyed my Party!

Thrifty Decor Chick is hosting a Goodwill Party.
Blessings to you today! You are loved!

Great finds! I hope it gives your neighbor great pleasure to know your kids are making the most of her fence. It’s these kinds of stories that make me smile!
