Moving Christmas to January, who’s with me???

December 16, 2009 Lana

Due to the fact, that I have had a huge cough since the Monday after Thanksgiving, it has caused our holidays to get messed up.

We still have NOT decorated for Christmas.  I have only gone to one party and feel like this festive season is leaving before we have even started.

I went to the doctor yesterday.  After many meds he gives me more – don’t you love when that happens?  He took my blood and said come back in a couple of weeks.  He thinks I might be allergic to something that causes the cough…I think it might be my kids.  Just kidding.  Well, sort of…every time they walk in the room – I do start coughing.

One of the things we have been able to do this season, is see an implosion.  I wanted to show more of the still pictures of the building – it truly was an amazing site.  If you missed the movie – go here.

Holding it up Looking cool - leaning. IMG_2746 IMG_2747 IMG_2748 IMG_2749 IMG_2750 IMG_2753 IMG_2755 IMG_2760Triumph Look ma' what I did...

It was the largest reinforced concrete building ever to be imploded.  Therefore, it goes into the World’s Largest category – we are on an adventure to see them all!

Blessings to you!!!  You are loved!!!!

I’m so sorry you are not feeling well. That can put such a damper on things!
Yesterday I made 75 giant sweet rolls for my husband to give the teachers and staff at his school. My 12 year old son said “Hey Mom, you got frosting all over the cabinets.”
I responded with “Well, I knew you kids were feeling bad that we’ve only had time to put up 1/2 the Christmas decorations, so I thought I’d decorate the kitchen with frosting while I was there….a little two for one.”
He just chuckled and said “Mom, you are so wierd.”
Tell me something I don’t know. Let’s not have Christmas in Jan….let’s just get it done!
    Hope you feel better soon!

PS I keep a family blog you might get a chuckle out of.

IT is DRIVING me NUTS which if you ask some of my family they will tell ya is a short trip

I’m with you on getting it moved!

Love the implosion pictures – I haven’t seen one since I was a kid and it was spectacular then – although not as big as yours!

Oh bless your heart…there is NOTHING worse than being sick over the holidays. And when there is only 3 weeks between the 2 biggest, they are here and then gone before you know it. I hope you feel better soon!

And thanks for posting implosion pics! I have never witnessed one in person and now I am even more eager to do so!

May the LORD bless you and keep you; May the LORD make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; May He turn His face toward you and give you peace. Feel free to leave a comment - we LOVE to hear your thoughts! ~Blessings to you!~ ~You are so loved!~ ~Lana (Like Banana)~
