We have been shopping for a new computer…it feels like I have been looking for a lifetime partner who I know is going to die in a few years.
These are few things that I have learned…
- My friends prefer an apple computer.
- Apple computers are out of my budget.
- Compaq is owned by HP.
- Intel owns all the processors.
- All newer laptops have wireless.
- You can’t set up wireless without a router.
- My neighbors have all their routers set to privacy mode.
- Notebook and Laptops are the same thing.
- Some office stores are cheaper than the Best Stores…
- My hubby is good at computer shopping.
- I’m not good at computer shopping.
- I just like using a
goodgreat and fast computer. - Computer shopping is a lot like car shopping.
- Their are too many choices.
- Yet, still have to find something for our needs.
- Will still have to do this again, in a few years.
Update…found a reasonable laptop. It is exciting so far, just need to buy a router and lots of chocolate to celebrate.
Blessings to you!!! You are LOVED!!!

Ah…yes…opinions on computers are like..well…let’s just say everyone has one. When my laptop crashed in December (without ANY warning) I felt like a piece of me had fallen off. And been eaten by my cat..never to be retrieved. And then the REAL fun started. Shopping for a new one. Like dating again after being married for 50 years. You have NO idea where to start. Glad you settled on one. Some people just give up and get a library card. Basically, they’re all the same. It just comes down to memory and speed. If you can agree on those 2 things, you’ve won the battle.

Eh…I’m not interested in the Macs. I like my Sony laptop just fine. 🙂 Good luck with your shopping!

I would love an Apple – but it is out my price range also! Which really sucks because I am in school learning/using Adobe Suite for EVERYTHING!!! Plus Honey is a die hard Dell fan!! ACK!
