CRASH!

October 22, 2010 Lana

The other day, I was homeschooling 7 children.  I was keeping two other children – while their parents were in Boston in the FALL.  (That is a Veggie Tales’ Song that just never gets old.)

During a quiet moment, we heard something go CRASH!  Something had hit the front window.

It’s a Bird!  It’s a Plane!  No…it’s a Bird!

Can you see it - take 1At first we thought it was a hummingbird – because we have two hummingbird feeders right above here.Bird Take 2A closer look – we notice the bird is much larger than a hummer.

(Not the weeds…forget the weeds.  They are not our friends.  They are a nuisance.  I hate weeds!)Birdie Take 3   Whatever it is ( a sparrow maybe?)…it got up and flew into our neighbor’s tree, after a few minutes of being knocked out and a fast photo-op.

Truly an amazing creature!

Guess my windows were too clean!
Yeah – evidence that I do clean my windows!

Blessings to you!!!  You are loved!!!

    Love that Veggie Song!!

We have a window that reflects the sky and birds are ALWAYS crashing. It is so sad when they
    aren’t able to fly away!

Ahhh, the little thing! They do that hear sometimes and the stupid bees. The bees do it over and over again though. Dumb :o)
What weeds? I thought it was ground cover :o)

I think it is a wren? They have stripped wings, and are very, very small 🙂

May the LORD bless you and keep you; May the LORD make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; May He turn His face toward you and give you peace. Feel free to leave a comment - we LOVE to hear your thoughts! ~Blessings to you!~ ~You are so loved!~ ~Lana (Like Banana)~
