Houston, we have a problem! May our friend RIP!

September 5, 2011 Lana

We knew something wasn’t right.
It just didn’t perform like it should.
But, we let it die a slow death.
This is what I saw when I woke up Sunday morning.
Mr. Coffee died.
Mr. Coffee upside down on the breakfast table with a screwdriver in… (well, I rather not say.)
When I was wishing – I was seeing this!
Jack in the Box Coffee
Oh, wait…this was a Sunday morning picture, as well.
My hubby rushed to Jack in the Box to grab me a cup of their java and put it in my Boston Starbucks’ mug.
That seemed wrong to type.
But, it was good.
Until Monday morning and we still have no coffee maker.
We can’t decide what to buy,
A French Press,
A percolator,
A grinder and coffee maker combo,
A Keruig,
or
Mr. Coffee, the Second.
(Images are from Amazon and are affiliate links – if you want to buy them for yourself, I get some pennies.
All monies will go to our Java fund.  Thank you!)
Decisions!  What do you like?
Hope you have a safe and wonderful Labor Day!
I have had five labors
and
not sure why anyone would want to have a whole Labor Day.
Blessings to you!  You are loved!

From your choices, I would go for the grinder/coffeemaker combo. French press is good but that taste gets tiring sometimes… as does the percolator. My favorite of all would be a Bunn… nothing beats coffee in 3 MINUTES! And it lasts forever!

We love our Bunn – worth the money!

French press all the way if you’re a true coffee person and just a coffee drinker! 🙂 A decent french press, grinder and bag of whole beans is a fraction of a Keurig and the result is so.much.better!

Well I got my Keurig last year for Christmas and LOVE IT! It may not be as cost efficient but it’s sure saves time.
Sorry about your coffee maker. I have a back up coffee maker for when we have guests over, I can still brew a big pot.
Can’t wait to see what you get.

OH mercy in this house loss of the coffee maker is akin to a national emergency. Me without coffee that early in the AM is never a good thing….Mr. Coffee doesn’t last as long as he used to . I have heard great things about the Keurig and my sister had the grinder pot combo and it lasted about a year.

Keurig 100% all the way. We travel with ours!

May the LORD bless you and keep you; May the LORD make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; May He turn His face toward you and give you peace. Feel free to leave a comment - we LOVE to hear your thoughts! ~Blessings to you!~ ~You are so loved!~ ~Lana (Like Banana)~
