History, Geography, and a Little Science All wrapped up in a delightful little book!

Have you ever read a boring history book?

Yep, we all have.

That is why I jumped at the chance to read –

It is a cute little book (with delightful artwork) that mixes history, geography and science.

It came in the mail and my son grabbed the book and had it read in less than an hour.  It shared facts with him that would have caused me to do great research or had him read a boring history book.  This used a little humor, facts and had a great story.

One thing I would have liked the book to have was a list of questions for the “teacher” or “Parent” to ask the student.  It just would have provided more interaction.  

It is supposed to be for grades 3-5 but I got to tell you – I learned something.  I’m guess I’m not smarter than a 5th grader.  (Sorry, couldn’t resist!)
