Shattered then Replaced

August 1, 2012 Lana

15 years ago, I was having wedding showers.

Anchor Hocking Shattered

This was one of my gifts.
It was an Anchor Hocking 8 oz liquid measuring cup.
It is now shattered and not really feeling good.  In fact, it is gone.
It actually happened a few weeks ago.  But, I have yet to replace it.
Some things are easy to go to the store and buy a new one.
But, I just keep forgetting to look until I need an exact cup of liquid.
So, now I use a a little Mason jelly jar which has measurements on it.
I just love those things and one less thing in my cabinet.
And that Works for Me!

So sorry about your measuring cup. I use a mason jar just about as often as I do a measuring cup too. Funny how those jars can be so many things. We can use them for pickles, tea, and measuring. LOL

Isn’t it amazing how quickly we forget about our “needs” until we have to use it. But on the bright side….at least it lasted 15 years! 🙂 By the way, one week from today we begin our 1,108 mile journey to our new “home” in Texas!

May the LORD bless you and keep you; May the LORD make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; May He turn His face toward you and give you peace. Feel free to leave a comment - we LOVE to hear your thoughts! ~Blessings to you!~ ~You are so loved!~ ~Lana (Like Banana)~
