If you knew me in real life, you know that I like to joke around, a lot. Thankfully my family loves me anyway. Laughter after all, is the best medicine.
You also should know that I don’t like being sent to voicemail. AND if you were ever to send me to voicemail and you are a family member – I will leave a heartfelt, but very lonnnnnnng message.
A certain person in my life just sent me to voicemail. His name will be kept anonymous, but we can call him Brother. My only brother that shares BOTH my Dad and Mom’s DNA. Believe it or not that should narrow it down to one of my three brothers if we were to give any hints.
Clears throat…
The voicemail message was similar to this:
Hi Dear Brother,
You sent me to voicemail. Why would you send me to voicemail? I don’t send you to voicemail? Voicemail is like a jail. You are all by yourself in here. No one listens to you. No one cares. No one knows if anyone will ever come to visit. It is jail.
Which makes me think…if I were in jail, who would I want to be with me? You of course. No, your wife. She would make a jail pretty. And she would get all the inmates to exercise. And then she would make it popularity contest because everyone would be fit and pretty…nevermind, I would lose, I don’t want her in jail with me.
Speaking of jail…it reminds me of country music. I don’t why. Country music reminds me of Nashville. I love Tennessee in the Fall. Don’t you? Tennessee reminds me of Arkansas. I like driving through Hope, Arkansas – where Bill Clinton is from. You know that it is also the Watermelon Capital of the World? Are you still there?
Then I spoke of Gilmore Girls, coffee and more jail time…until his voicemail rude buzzer sounded, I believe it was after 3 minutes of being in voicemail jail.
Which he responded by text:
“Wow. That was pretty good. But, now I am too tired of the phone to call back!”
Thank you for reading my very important public message today. I’m sure it saved a life, or at least someone from perpetual incarceration.
Blessings to you! You are loved!
