Getting to know each other

November 9, 2012 Lana

My friend, Lisa at The Pennington Point asked a few questions about:

Getting to know each other.

The Pennington Point and ilovemy5kids

I thought it would be neat to share my answers here plus tell you about her.  She has been a sweet friend to me for a couple of years now. A month ago, we were driving through her town and we stopped to eat.  She came up to Cracker Barrel within minutes just to visit.  Love when a friend, will drop everything just to visit a crazy crew like mine.

She has one of the cutest kitchens in the Texas Hill Country!   She has tons of kids.  Ok, not tons but anyone that has one more than me – I feel like has tons. So if you ever need sound parenting advice – seek her – not me.  😉

These are her questions and my answers:

1. Are you right or left handed?

I’m a total right handed.  Not that you have asked, but I also can only use my right foot for the brake pedal.  I’ve tried using my left and it causes whiplash.

2. How many siblings do you have? Where do you fall in line?

Ooh, that is a loaded question.  I am the eldest and probably bossiest and the one with the most kids.

I have one full blooded brother.  One half brother.  One step-sister.  One step-brother. (We dropped the “step” part a long time ago.)

3. What do you do to relax?

I take a bath.  A long one.  I also just started running.  But, I feel like Shamu on rollerskates (Can you say uncoordinated after 5 kids)…so I like doing it where others can’t see.

4. What is something you would like to change about your home?

I’d love to have pictures on my walls.  Since we have been remodeling – they haven’t been put back up.

5. What is one thing you do that you REALLY have a passion for?

My kids.  I really want them to have a walk with Christ without feeling a legalistic burden.  I want their relationship with Him to grow and be theirs.  A true freedom.

Blessings to you!  You are loved!
