Some days, you might need some good news. Okay, some months or even years need some good news.
Finding Good Things in Life can be hard!
Our family seems to be going through some very hard trials.
No one is deathly ill or anything like that.
We just are being tested.
I don’t like these kind of tests.
It is kind of like when you go shopping and spend a $100.00 over your budget. Then you go to your car but before you get there someone tries to run you and your precious children over. After staying calm – you finally get everyone in the car and buckled and then you back out of the parking place only have someone else blare their horn behind you. Your heart speeds up and you feel uncomfortable, again. Then you try to turn out into the street and NO ONE lets you get out of the very crowded parking lot. Then, your youngest says, “I have to go to the bathroom and I CAN’T HOLD IT.”
THAT kind of test.
You can see the ending is still going to be good regardless (you will be HOME eventually), but not before you are uncomfortable and wish for a secluded beach surrounded by chocolate fountains and wild honeysuckle.
During these times – I SEEK to find some good things in my life.
Let me tell you my Bath and Body Works order.
They are having there semi-annual sale, a lot of body washes are 75% off. I love their products and was totally out.
I ordered online using a coupon (BIGSALE20) and going through my
. (Which gives me some money back.)I ordered $114.00 – Retail for $39.61.
This was a total of 12 items and included shipping plus some money back at ebates.I thought this was good for not having to leave the house and I love the product.
The next week – the UPS man came. I love that guy! He brings me toilet paper too. (Another post for another time.)
He brought me 2 boxes.
Guess what?!?
Bath and Body sent me two orders of the exact same thing, on accident.
I called them and told them…being an honest Abe.
Then the sweet lady told me she has never seen that before in all the years she has worked there and she would have to speak to her supervisor.
After a brief hold, she told me to keep it. “Happy Belated Birthday and Happy New Year!“
So I got $228.00 worth of product for $39.61.
Woohoo! And that has me smiling! Even if no one has let me out of the crowded parking lot with my kids begging to go to the potty!
I’m going to smell good!
Can you tell by the photo which is my favorite scent?
Blessings to you! You are loved!
