How to learn the Greek Alphabet fast

How to learn the Greek Alphabet fast!

Seriously, my kids learned their Greek alphabet in a matter of minutes.

If you want to pin it for later, here is a direct link for the pin.

How to learn the Greek Alphabet fast

I’m still having trouble.  But, who am I?  Just the teacher.  Lol!

Greece has been our focus for the last few months from field trips to the Parthenon, Greek foods to listening to Homer.  We have had so much fun learning about Greece!  The language itself – is just as fun!

Okay, so how did we learn?

YouTube of course!

Here is the awesome video that taught us the Greek alphabet in minutes:

Some of the pronunciation differs but I also had my kids learn the spellings so they could at least spell what they were saying if they ever run into anyone who questions them.

After they heard that story, I would suggest a little song.

Then this one – just for fun!

Hope your kids (and you) learn the Greek alphabet – quickly!

Blessings to you! You are loved!

YouTube can be such a helpful tool! We started learning Greek a few years ago, but have let it slide lately. This has inspired me to pull the books back out again. Thanks for sharing these resources!

Hi, this is a great idea, however I was wondering if you knew of any sites that teach the Greek alphabet with the actual correct “Greek” or Hellenic pronunciation? I know the correct pronunciation but as much as I try to teach my kids the Greek pronunciation I have a feeling they would be more interested in hearing it from a kid style dvd/you tube lesson. Any info that you may have would be greatly appreciated!
