How to reuse spinach containers

March 21, 2013 Lana

I’ve been involved in Project Cleanse.  A group of ladies and I have been cleaning up our lives, either physically, spiritually or even mentally.
Project Cleanse

My focus has been about cleaning out my house and up my diet.
Let’s just say, some days the house is easier to clean and organize than cleaning up my diet.

Some days, I can accomplish both.

I noticed I was and am eating a lot of organic spinach.  So I have a pretty neat collection of these neat containers. I like they are clear and stack-able.  However, they are flimsy and won’t take much of a beating.

How to recycle a Spinach Box

My family loves this spinach.  We put it in our brownies (no lie), our scrambled eggs, our tacos, our pizza, and  even smoothies.  My kids loved it in smoothies…they couldn’t even taste it.  St. Patrick or Popeye the Sailor Man – smoothies.  Yum!

So what should I do with all these sweet containers?

Sort my medicines like a first aid kit.

How to organize Medicines

I can now see all the medicines without even opening the lid.  Great for those tall shelves in the bathroom.

By the way — I love Nexcare Bandages.  They don’t pull or hurt when they come off.  Yes, I’m a wimp.

Anyway that works for me!

Organization using Spinach – now that is GOING GREEN!  Lol!

What a great use for the container! I like recycling shoe boxes for storage containers, but I like that your spinach containers are see-through.

I use them with the top on as mini greenhouses for growing wheatgrass or starting seeds!

That is a GREAT idea – I need at least one box in every room and every car!

May the LORD bless you and keep you; May the LORD make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; May He turn His face toward you and give you peace. Feel free to leave a comment - we LOVE to hear your thoughts! ~Blessings to you!~ ~You are so loved!~ ~Lana (Like Banana)~
