Happy New Year!

It is 2014! Woot!
My hubby and I are in a new city to us and scouting out a new place for us to live.
My sweet Aunt has invited us over for a New Year’s Day traditional dinner. I assume this will mean Black Eyed Peas and cornbread. We have lived away from this tradition for so long, I can’t remember the traditional foods for New Year’s Day.
Yesterday, we went to a new store, Brookshires. I grew up with Brookshire Brothers but this is a little different.
I am going to miss my favorite HEB. It just wasn’t the same. (I grew up with HEB too but ours is totally different, it is probably closer to Whole Foods.) No sushi bar. No donuts. I know, weird requests right? A girl has got to have her priorities.
Yesterday, was also my birthday. Can I tell you if it wasn’t for my husband and kids – I’d have no idea how old I am? I feel twenty, just don’t feel as pregnant. I was with child my entire twenties.
All the kids are with my Mom. Feels so quiet.

We just got back from my Aunt’s and Uncle’s home.
I love my Aunt so very much. She blesses my heart so much. I can’t wait to move closer to her and for my kids to get to know her and all the cousins.
This place is awesome. I couldn’t believe all the hills. Very exciting for us that have lived in the plains for so long.
We are still praying for the Lord to lead us to the right property that He wants for us. Some are so nice but out of our price range others would need work and don’t have much land. So many decisions.
Hoping tomorrow the Lord will give us more of a direct spot where He would have us.
Blessings to you! You are loved!
