THIS summer is going to be a blast for my kids and their cousins! I love the summer when there are exciting things planned!
Come back soon and check out our Cousin Camp Ideas! It will be an entire week of activities with 15 kids. Just writing that makes me want to check my sanity. We have hour by hour planned with tons of flexibility. Did I mention 15 kids – for an entire week? Again, my sanity might need to be checked soon.
Another option might be a STAYCATION! (Having a Vacation while staying at home.) If you need some fun ideas in your state – I wrote a huge post about Staycation ideas that included many cities across the nation. I love when bloggers come together and help each other out with ideas galore.
Another must do activity is the LIBRARY. We have already hit ours and the kids have a goal of reading tons of books!
In order to stay sane for the amount of books we have checked out – here is a tip!
Have two library bags!
One for the “Read” bags and another for the “To Read” pile.
This saves on fines. Also, most libraries can print you out a receipt of which books you have checked out…have a child check it before you leave the house. It might save you some Fine Money.
I also plan to continue homeschooling through the summer! Shhh…don’t tell the kids. They just will think it will be fun activities. I could be called a “sneaky homeschooling Mom.” But, I would think that is any Mom.
