As soon as September hits, I pull out our Fall Village. Fall is such an important time in my life. I love the smell of the crisp cool weather, football, and just knowing the holidays are upon us.
I probably decorate my home more for fall than anytime of year. The oranges, yellows, and reds go with my decor. Plus, it makes me so glad to be out of the 100 degree weather.
The reason why I picked out the village for works-for-me-Wednesday, is that my kids are a big part of it. It is at their level and they are able to touch it, whenever they want. They constantly change the position of the people or the houses. They use their imagination to create stories, to what is happening in the village.
Hopefully, they are making great memories. I know my husband has wonderful memories of the village, his mom made out cardboard. I wonder what tales my children will have when they grow up.
