True Story!
Nothing makes me get out of a stupor than my kids yelling in their frantic little voices…
“Mom – HURRY come QUICK! They are in our back yard!”
Then – I see them! Yes, it was worth the yelling!
I should say that these birds (the Green Parakeets) actually live in a palm tree in our neighbor’s yard. We also have Red-crowned Parrots which look very similar – only they have red-crown heads.
But! – We have never seen them in our back-yard bird bath before.
Love it when nature comes to us!
As soon, as we took these pictures – they flew away! I wish I could have taken a better picture…this was taken through our screen door.
They are not the best models and don’t like being still for very long.
They are gorgeous!
