Hi! I got tons of gardening posts…go see them here!
We garden in every month except in August. It is too HOT!

My hubby and I have been teaching a Gardening Class with a couple other homeschooling families.
(The other Moms taught Spanish and Art.)
My kids have really gained a lot of understanding.
(So, has their Mom.)

One of the last projects my hubby and I came up with was to build a trellis for a plant that vines.
Can you see the blue chalk on the sidewalk?
That was my “blueprint” to show the kids what they could do.
The kids got to design their own. I love kid’s creativity!

This was a fun craft that taught a few lessons.

Lesson #1 – Mrs. Lana doesn’t hold nails while the child hammers.

Lesson #2 – Mrs. Lana’s toes are not to be confused with nails.

Lesson #3 – Old fence that is not sanded has the potential to give major splinters.
The final lesson – have fun learning (and teaching)!

We used some leftover FENCE…yeah, I know another project with fence.
I think I am going to write a book on “101 ways to use leftover fence or boards.”

The results…marvelous!
Can’t wait to see vines growing on them either on a fence or in a flower bed!

Isn’t anything “homemade” the best!!!
