A new family member…welcome!

June 5, 2012 Lana

There are some jobs I just love.
One of them is being an Aunt.

Not really a job, per say.  A benefit of having little siblings growing up.

Eventually, siblings grow up, get married and have beautiful children,
my nephews and nieces.  Well done siblings!
After I babysat for you all those years and we all lived through it. You did great and made me an Aunt!

Something I like about nephews and nieces is:  They are like future Grandchildren.
Spoil them and send them home.
Except mine live so far away.  I don’t get to see mine that often except through Facebook.

Doesn’t matter, I’m still praying for them and can’t wait till they say my name.
I will be their Fave Aunt Lana – NO DOUBT.
(Especially, since I’m the only Lana in our family, not that we need to dwell on that fact.)

So without further ado…

Princess in Training!
My newest niece, born yesterday, June 4th.  Isn’t she a doll baby?
Congrats to my Lil’ Brother, his precious wife and their beautiful children!
Can’t wait to hold her in November!

Blessings to you!  You are loved!

Oh, She is so precious!!! I know you must be a “Great” Aunt. I too, just love being a Auntie to all my nieces and nephews. Most of mine are grown now and I look forward to having more “Great” nieces and nephews, But in the future. I want them to enjoy this stage of their lives. They have plenty of time to marry and have babies. No rush. But I have to tell you, I look forward to holding a baby again. Anyway, Congratulations on your newest neice.
