10 Benefits of the Summer Heat

July 16, 2012 Lana

Living in South Texas is a little warmer than most of the other country.
However, this summer everyone seems to be experiencing a Heat Wave.

Enjoying the Heat of Summer
Enjoying the “Heat”

So, I wanted to give you some of my favorite things I like about the heat.

  1. Hanging clothes in the heated garage will save on the electricity bill because they will dry faster than in the clothes dryer.
  2. No need to turn on the hot water for baths.  The heated pipes in the attic will provide all the hot water needed.
  3. For a fast sauna, flush the commode, have a seat and the water heats up under you.  (No joke – thanks to those trusty pipes in the attic.)
  4. Leave cookie dough in your car for a few minutes.  Provides a delicious car freshener and fresh baked cookies.
  5. Less clothes to wash during the hot months.  (Shorts vs Jeans/Sweaters)
  6. No need to find the matching game in socks, everyone wears flip flops.
  7. Grilling out.  (Nuff said.)
  8. Daddy cooks. (Okay, now nuff said.)
  9. Not a lot of dishes to wash if grilling out.  (Okay, really, now nuff said.)
  10. No need for baths if the pool cleans you with the chlorine.
(I’m so kidding with that one!  Sort of.)
Hoping you are enjoying your HOT Summer!
Blessings to you!  You are loved!
