Full Grown Chorkie – Our Da Vinci.

August 17, 2012 Lana

This is a post for our dog Da Vinci.  Please accept our apologies beforehand!

Full Grown Chorkie
A full grown Chorkie – our Da Vinci

We named him Da Vinci for Italy.  We love traveling and both of our dogs have destination names.

However, he has a little BIG personality.  He is half Yorkie and half Chihuahua.  When we were looking up what a full grown chorkie looked like – there were so many inconsistent looks.  From a frizzy looking gremlin to a long curly haired dog.  We got kind of worried when he was younger and he lost his hair.  It was like his body grew faster than his hair could grow out.  Thankfully, for his looks – his hair got longer and smoother.

However, no matter how hard I try to take a good photo of him – it fails.  His eyes are soooo dark that they don’t stand out.  When I took this photo – I liked the stark green in the background with his deep black coat.

He loves chewing paper, his big sister the yellow lab – Brighton Joy, and sleeping at my feet.

Never did I think – I would fall in love with a little dog.  But, he has captured my heart.  He is worthless – don’t let my affection make you think he is worth anything.  He doesn’t listen.  He is still learning that outside is his potty.  AND – he steals his sister’s bone every chance he gets.

Anyone still reading?  I know this is a post about a dog.  But, it is a part of our life and I feel that Da Vinci needs at least one post.

So – this post is for you Da Vinci! Da Vinci?
DA VINCI
– Put my panties down!

(Okay – seriously the dog is trouble!)

But, we love him!

Blessings to you!  You are loved!

Da Vinci looks like a cute dog! Of course he is going to have a special place in your home and on your blog. We would not know about him otherwise. Ok Da Vince. Now be good and listen to your mamma!
