Love the idea of a staycation…sometime hotels have staycation packages (embassy suites in mcallen used to have one where you got a 125 rate and free pizza-thats almost half off the usual) . Loved your last post…agreed with almost all of it- theres alot of great outdoor activities to do in mcallen…..didnt have such great luck at the cupcake shop though (its quite expensive and customer service wasnt great even though we were the only patrons in there at the time.
