…to the chickens. He even talks to his corn. The other kids whine “Mommmn, Big Brother keeps calling it “his” corn.” My response, “Well, he’ll gladly let you weed it.” No more whining – problem solved. …thinking about Mary, Jesus’ mother. I can just imagine how Mary felt being big and pregnant riding on a donkey up and down hills. I have been with child five times and the ninth month is not a picnic. Plus, to have to find a room in a strange town adds more stress. I would have been so frustrated. Sometimes a big family has it’s rewards. We get to fill up a doctor’s whole afternoon with just our family. We have a new pediatric dentist. We actually go to church with him and his wife.
