TOBLERONE – One of my fave things!

TOBLERONE is created using only first class ingredients. It is made of a tantalizing mixture of selected cocoa beans, milk, sugar, honey and almonds. The powdered milk which is used to manufacture TOBLERONE comes mainly from Switzerland. (This is from the toblerone’s website.)

My affair with Toblerone came from a trip to Europe when I was a teenager. I loved chocolate and lived off this for about a month. (I couldn’t get away with this now or I’d be the one person who everyone would always wonder, is she ever going to give birth?)

When we got back to the states, I never could find them, until that glorious day; I remember it so well. My eye caught the funny wrapping and it was as if I was in a dream. I glided toward it and we embraced as if in a love story, reuniting two lovers. (Okay, I like melodramatics.) The taste was not the same as it was in Europe but still so familiar.

I only allow myself only one a year due to my “great” self control (ha! ha!). A few stores sell them around here. Target, Walgreen’s, and our faithful grocery store.
