Helpers and Hints with the 3 R’s + more~Part 4~

These helpers or hints have helped me tremendously. I just love cute little sayings that help me remember English, Spelling and Arithmetic rules. I will have at least 7 parts and 7 hints each time. ( 7 happens to be my favorite number. I also have 77 ways to save or spend less. There are also 7 people in our family. I could go on and on with the number 7. )

1. When multiplying 9’s; write 9 to 0 in the ones column and 0 through 9 in the 10’s column.
   This gives you the nines tables.

3. To remember where the states, California, Oregon and Washington are, it spells COW.
4. Treble Line in reading music: Notes EGBDF
   Every Good Boy Does Fine. (Treble is people)
5. Treble Space in reading music: FACE (Treble is people)
6. Bass line in reading music: GBDFA
   Great Big Dogs Fight Animals (Bass is animals)
7. Bass Space in reading music:
   All Cows Eat Grass (Bass is animals)
