My office is right beside the playroom. So, as I’m working at my desk – I can eavesdrop on the kids as they play “nicely”.
They came and asked me if they could play hangman. I said “As long as there was not a real man involved, than sure.” I love when kids want to practice their spelling and play together.
They play for a while, then I hear my eldest say to his brother, “You know a HORMONE – a word that sounds the same.”
His younger brother corrects him – “You mean HOMOPHONE!”
I love that they are learning something in school!
